Written by PhotoShop News.About Camera Raw 4.1
Adobe has released Camera Raw 4.1, and rather than a small update just for new cameras, this one is major. New features and new functionality are showing up in a long awaited upgrade of Camera Raw’s sharpening controls, a new control called Clarity, enhanced noise reduction and two new defringing controls in lens correction. All told, there is a surprising amount of “new” in Camera Raw 4.1.

Written by PhotoShop News.Photo of Monster Hog Called Into Question; Web Site Claims It Was Doctored
Is it a humongous hog, a monster mistake, or a huge hoax?
Source: Fox News
That’s the question being asked Tuesday about a stunning photo distributed last Friday by the Associated Press that purports to show an 11-year-old Alabama boy standing behind a half-ton wild hog his father said he bagged with a pistol.
The boy, Jamison Stone, looks tiny in the photo as he stands behind his prize pig, which his father claims measures 9 feet 4 inches, and weighs 1,051 pounds.
“It feels really good,” Jamison said last week in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. “It’s a good accomplishment. I probably won’t ever kill anything else that big.”
Jamison’s father, Mike Stone, said the prize porker was hauled off on a truck to the Clay County Farmers Exchange in Lineville, where Jeff Kinder said they used his scale, recently calibrated, to weigh the hog, according to the Associated Press and a […]

Written by PhotoShop News. The Luminous Landscape Gallery Opening
On Friday, May 18th, 2007 I attended the opening of Michael Reichmann’s Luminous Landscape Photography Gallery & Print Studio in Toronto, Ontario. I had ridden my motorcycle over to Toronto to work with Michael to tape a new video tutorial about fine art printing as well as an update to our Lightroom Video Tutorial.
The gallery, located in the up and coming East side of Toronto will house fine art print shows as well as serving as a teaching space for both Michael’s as well as others’ workshops. Click to read more about the The Luminous Landscape Photography Gallery & Print Studio.
The show that kicked off the gallery was a combination of image from Antarctica & Amazonia-two photographic expeditions completed in early 2007. I was fortunate to be along for the Antarctica expedition.
Here’s Michael (with white wine-I gotta get him converted to the red stuff) at the gallery’s front door.
The crowd […]

Written by PhotoShop News.Photoshop CS3 VM Buffering Optional Extensions-MAC Only
Adobe has released optional plug-in extensions for the purpose of altering Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended’s method of caching when a Macintosh computer has over 4 gigs of ram installed.
From the Read Me:
(note, the Read Me is not included in the download and is available only from the download location)
VM BUFFERING IN PHOTOSHOP CS3
On Macintosh computers, Photoshop can directly access up to about 3.5GB. When there is more than 3.5GB of document data, Photoshop writes data to its scratch files as necessary. On a computer with 4GB or less of RAM, the data is transferred directly between the scratch files on disk and the Photoshop RAM. On a computer with more than 4GB of RAM, Photoshop tells the operating system to use the extra RAM as a buffer for the Photoshop scratch file. In this case, when document data no longer fits in the 3.5GB of Photoshop RAM […]

Written by PhotoShop News.Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended Crack Harvests Zombie Computers
Source: Softpedia News
Written by Marius Oiaga, Technology News Editor
A crack designed to activate Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 3 Extended brings to the table a tad more than the users have bargained for. When it comes to pirated materials, there is no such thing as free. This truism is reinforced by the Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended keygen authored by “macROSS.” The Key generator is being offered as a free method to circumvent the activation mechanism of Photoshop CS3 Extended.
While the genuine products from Adobe come with consistent price tags, Photoshop CS3 is available for $649 and Photoshop CS3 Extended for no less than $999, the key generator is completely free. Well, the fact of the matter is that free is more of a concept, and it applies strictly to financial transactions. Because the Photoshop CS3 crack from “macROSS” is anything but free, and it will end up costing users more than […]
